C. R. Grimmer, who also goes by Chelsea Grimmer and uses she/her and they/them pronouns interchangeably, is a poet and scholar at The University of Washington (UW), Seattle. They are the author of The Lyme Letters (#thelymeletters) which was completed with support from a Harlan Hahn Disability Studies Fellowship and published February 2021 from Texas Tech University Press as the Walt McDonald First Book Award Recipient. They are also the author of O–(ezekiel's wife), a chapbook and audiobook collaboration from GASHER Journal and Press. Recently, C. R. completed their Ph.D. in Literature and Cultural Studies with support from fellowships such as The Simpson Center for the Humanities' Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Public Humanities Fellowship. They received their MFA in Creative Writing from Portland State University in 2013, MA in Literature from the same institution in 2014, and BA from Oakland University in 2011.
